When i was last in pattaya in december/jan i noticed a sign outside queen pattaya saying rooms 500 baht / 600 baht(and thats during high season) Not sure if they bring their prices down in low season though!!

Better than the quality at anna jet!!! I stayed just round the corner between soi 7 and soi 8 on second road at a place called SIGGYS for a few nights during high season and paid 100 baht less than what anna and peter are charging for their grubby little rooms. Ok SIGGYS is a bit of a dump IMO but it was 100 baht cheaper and the room was almost twice the size(and it had a proper bed, if a bit hard!!) Just goes to show that you can get cheaper and better rooms by having a look around(in my case walking 50 yards)

Dont get me wrong, i love the bar and the ladies that work there but the rooms are a damn disgrace

Why stay at anna jet? Plenty other better places to stay in the area me thinks........... Annas rooms stink!!

MMMMMMMMMMM!! Me too but i thought they tasted more like chicken than potato???????? Also ive eaten a few deep fried toads(frogs) and again thought they tasted like chicken. Most of the cleaning ladies at the sunshine hotel are real hags, so there is no chance of me ever taking one in my room for some hows your father, id rather walk out of the lobby and onto soi 8 for a s/t girl

Ive always been charged 10 baht for chicken, beef or pork on a skewer and 5 baht for rice. I think this is the going rate. BTW wannabeexpat!!!!!!!! Those green veggie things that you mentioned that are on one end of the skewer are called CHILLIS......!!! And the powder they sprinkle on is called PEPPER!!

Dont worry Druid mate!! They serve alcohol on the flight all the way to bangkok. Red wine, whiskey, vodka, bitburger, heineken....... you name it and im sure they will have it and serve you it mate!!

WTF???????? Etihad a no alcohol airline?? Thats bullshit! Have you ever flown with Etihad @ elaf??? They serve drinks all the way to thailand. I have flown with them 4 times in the last year so i should know. Get your facts right people. Etihad are a great airline and i will continue to fly with them on all my visits.
