I know that most rooms with fans in them seem to be the cheap and nasty rooms but do any of you know some decent HOTELS(not condo) with fans in them??

Which do you prefer??? I used to be a big FAN of air con but i now put my sore throats/chest in the mornings down to having the air con on all night long. Also they make the room very cold which i do not like when i get out of the shower/bath. Now i will only take a room with fan as i find them much more comfortable....!! Your thoughts!

Abu dhabi airport is a bit small and smokey and theres not too much to do there, but i was only in transit for an hour(enough time to strech my long legs and smoke myself stupid before 2nd leg to bkk)

For some reason i cant download any of the movies from FLB videos forum!!! Can somebody help me? Ive tried left clicking on the file to get it to play with media player but it does not work..... Ive also tried right clicking and saving the file to pc(which it does do) but it will not open after it has downloaded????

I thought the beaches on koh larn were exellent!! The sea at pattaya beach is a big no no, dont swim in the water there as it is soooooo dirty. I dont mind sitting in a chair having a few beers and a bit of pok pok on pattaya beach though......... Jomtien beach is ok, i thought there was a nice breeze on the beach at jomtien.

Koh larn is great(if a bit expensive when you get there) It is only 20 baht from bali hai pier to get there(great value) I rented a motorbike with my girl just 1 week ago and toured the whole island........ white sand, clean warm water, bloody great!!! Well worth the visit if you are in pattaya even if its for a day visit to the island(as rooms ARE expensive on the island to rent) I will be going again to koh larn for sure as i liked it mak mak.

What stopover???? Have flown with etihad 5 times in last year and it has always been 1-1 1/2 hour stopover going there AND coming back!!! Flying from gatwick and back to gatwick In fact i have just got back to england today and the stopover was same same. Liked the new fleet of aircraft lots....... and th IFE was great. Guess what.....???? Have now just booked my next holiday over there for sept. 16th. Etihad everytime!! £375 return cant be beaten in my books

You wont be having any fun in the pool at night at sunshine soi 8. Have tried many times before with a lady(both of us naked) and have been told to get out.
