    I'm not an agent, but I am very experienced in the condo market here. It is very rare for a foreigner to get a loan from a Thai banks, the very basic requirements would be having a job and a work permit for a few years already. That said, there are some foreign banks that will issue a loan to you on Thai properties. I don't have much experience with this, and this is uncommon -- but it is available.

    I appreciate your comment. The View Talay Condos come as empty shell studios, and so each one is decorated differently. A wall and a door can be put in to create a separate bedroom, surely not more than about 20,000B total.

    I can say that this condo is a very good investment, to own as a rental property. I can continue to rent it out the way I currently do for the new owner, if they like. I'm not going anywhere, and I stay here. The new owner can block out dates they wish for their own stays, and get a rental return on the other dates. I am very good at filling up the condos. My rooms are rarely empty, especially since I have regular customers who come back to me year after year, due to my good service, and honesty.     Hmm. I think the buyer came from the ad I put on craigslist actually that I posted the same day, but a few people emailed me -- which is why I'm not quite sure now. I forgot to ask which site they came from. What is weird is it was a Pinoy guy who came for it, and chose not to take it with him on his motorbike when he came, but he gave me 1,000B and said he would take it and pay the 500B the next day. So I considered it sold. That was 2 days ago now, he didn't come back, and it is still sitting here.

    I prefer my stout cold. I prefer my chocolate bars and brownies at room temperature. I like my red wine sometimes cold and sometimes room temperature. I like my shots of sambuca black straight from the fridge. :) Maybe if the stout was draught it would taste better not chilled. Was your dad drinking it fresh?
