Park Lane Condo Jomtien
bangkapiboy replied to berettakid's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
I think the Park Lane condo is quite nice actually. Very nice. The location isn't so hot though. It is a ways from the beach, and Soi Wat Boon isn't so great. No baht bus there. -

I mistakenly thought PTTAXISERVICE was your new venture. So, how should we contact you and your son personally?

I'm so pleased to finally have a branch in Jomtien. I tried it out today. Love it. Well done. I especially love how the top floor is all sauna, hot pool, and cold pool.

Thanks for putting a link to my web site. FYI -- none of my rooms have a flophouse type of feel. I upkeep them well. Definitely View Talay 1 does not have a flophouse type of feel. All rooms are decorated uniquely, since each unit is individually owned. So, it really depends on how well the unit has been decorated and maintained. I keep my rental rooms in very good clean condition, however that is easy to do because I don't have many for rent.

If you want a budget hotel then you can just take a taxi direct to Jalan Jaksa and walk the street for a hotel. The whole street has budget hotels 1 after another there and around. They are all girlfriendly. You can always ask for "diskon" (discount). By the way, Jalan Jaksa isn't far from the train station downtown, which has an airport bus. The airport bus may or may not be running at that hour but you can find out when you get off the plane. From the train station it is a very short meter taxi (or their version of tuk tuk) ride to jalan jaksa. Always look for bluebird taxis if you can help it, as they are known not to screw around like others can. I'm not sure if any hotel is exactly the best located for finding girls. The action is well spread out. Taxis aren't expensive. I really like Jakarta. By the way, there are lots of musical beggars and kids at intersections. If you wan to give to them keep local coins handy for that.

I've heard mixed reviews about them. It seems China Airlines and EVA are better.

Delta gives me 3 baggage allowance of 70lbs each. I have their highest frequent flyer level.

Otherwise, pay for an extension 1900B at Jomtien immigration. If you have the visa on arrival, then you only get up to an extra 10 days though.

If I'm going for a good pizza I go to Pan Pan in Jomtien. Cheese and tomato sauce.
