  2. Interesting collection of photos, its amazing how its changed throughout the years. I wonder if we'll see such a dramatic change in places considered "out of town" by todays standards in the coming decades

  6. Its hard to fault, its my pref choice even if you can't get in its a good place to go for a drink and some pool

If its your first trip and you're not quite sure maybe go for 4 weeks, gives you 2 weeks to unwind before you go back to work, you can also start booking your next trip when you get back home then too. You'll like it there if you're into mongering and like pretty women, beer etc, might explain why so many blokes go there each year and so many of us poor sods would make it their first stop if they won the lotto.

  9. I'm sure alot of the beggers are brought in from Burma and Cambodia and generally a bit of a con. I don't give to them for that reason, its not that I'm a tight arse, just that I like to be sure that the money I do give gets to where its supposed to go, minus admin fees and the like. A donation to a Pattaya orphanage would be a better "investment" I reckon.
  10. Yeah its a nice drop alright, my beer of choice now. After having seen Heinekens sitting in sub zero temps for hours on end and not freezing it got me wondering what they put in the stuff. I thought San Mig light was light in calories and not alcohol, am I wrong about that?
  11. I was thinking of staying there last time but settled for Metro apartments. No regrets at all but it'd be good to know what this place is like too.

  14. Is Mikes pool above the shopping centre? If so how do you get to it? I'm staying in a place without a pool so it'd be nice to go for a dip before dinner and hitting the bars. Cheers

On second thoughts I might give this one a miss, too many mixed reports and I don't won't anything to sour my hard earned holiday, maybe I'll check in to the Metro Apts, they get a good write up or back to the good old Bay Breeze, better the devil you know sometimes.   25. I was thinking of staying there in Dec it seems to get good write ups. Can anyone tell me if the rooms have balconies or if the rooms are noisy. Does it have a pool? Any particular rooms worthwhile reserving?
