Ones to the right are usually the tour guides To the left is the private pick up area Had the same problem on first trip that I sorted the taxi myself

Steven Rates are usually same wherever you change money . You should open a Nationwide flex a/c and use ATMs as you will get a better rate when the money comes from your a/c they dont take a % or charge. Some of the ATMs charge 20 bht but most are free.

no problems when I went out in march & if not sure just check the Bankok airport website which gives flight arrivals
