Contact your UK company and ask what the costs are and what Thai network they use. T-Mobile/Virgin are ok if you have direct debit set up. It will be cheaper to get a Thai sim card

I send money out in Stirling and it is converted to Baht when it arrives at Kasikorn bank they take a few baht commission and I thank Halifax charged either £15.00 or £17.50 when I transferred some in October. Had aready got the swift code etc and checked it was ok to send in stirling when i was in Thailand

Have not stayed here for 2/3 years but when last stayed was ok . Pool area nice , no in room safes but lock box area behind reception. Girl friendly. Rooms were pretty basic

I have not had anything about ATM charges and they still advertise as free.

Stayed there in July because Flipper Lodge was undergoing upgrade. Still user friendly and good staff. rooms are slightly smaller than lodge.

west east travel the same but I think only until 30/8/07 Eva dont fly back on Mondays

Flipper house soi 7 are still doing their discount I think it worked out at 875 Bht a night Rooms are a little bit smaller than Flipper Lodge but otherwise much the same

They told me they were renovating when I e-mailed to book so at least they are advising people.

I have used mr Tom at least 4 times , never had a poblem with any of his drivers. Have booked his car again for the end of June
