Flag a Baht bus down on 2nd rd or wait until one of the ones that is waiting is full get off at Soi Diana ( kiss restaurant ) and walk up Soi Diana . I think you will find it is longer than a 20 minute walk from Sutus Court to Walking St . Going from Sutus Ct to Walking St get Baht Bus on Soi Buakhow get off at traffic lights on 2nd Rd . Depending on where you want to go you can go left at lights and then turn right down soi 15 for Baby dolls etc.

After last years successful visa application we have applied for another one but this time they have contacted my TG and asked her questions and so far we have not had a response after 10 days last year it took 3 days so now thinking they might refuse, only difference is she is not working in Pattaya and has a work guarantee for the bar/hotel she used to work in who they contacted and spoke to the daytime cashier not the manager who has guaranteed her work. I may be jumping the gun but if she is refused this time does anybody know if she can appeal the decision and how is that done. Its not

Thanks MM she had her passport with visa in back in 3 days , flights now sorted and I come out on the 18th and we are booked to fly back together on the 2nd July. An interesting 2months will follow

Good news Phone call yesterday saying she has got her visa so now have to sort out flights etc .

The UK4visa web site says 13% are completed within 3 days .

My TG went to Bangkok last Thursday 21st to take her passport and do the biometrics we supplied so much information including proof of contact between us over the last 9 months . money in both our accounts . 40 photos of us with her family and together in Northern Thailand , proof of her employment and copies of her family book , she has had the same e-mail regarding collection of documents today 25th ( 3 days later ) I hope this is a good sign .

Thanks for the replies -- looking at key visa the 5000 up front seems fair enough for a starting point to me and if successful makes things easier for me.

I want my TG to visit me in UK in summer if she can get a visa . Anyone recommend an agency that is trustworthy and offers money back if she fails to get a visa also what do the agencies charge to do the paperwork as I can find no mention of costs for this I would try myself but not sure if would do correctly as she works in a bar and has never been out the country. I am coming out in March for a month and we will be gong to Chaing Mai and also spending time with her family while I am in Thailand .

Have stayed at Sutus Court 1 twice no problems wifi good -second time small pool was closed last time stayed in Sutus Court 3 . moved room 2 times first time as room on ground floor by lift so always noisy due to check out at all hours and people coming back at night/morning and using lift moved to room on 3 floor -- but got eating alive by bed bugs so moved again and room ok though wifi not as good as Sutus Court 1. Have booked Opey de Place for next visit in September so hope will be ok.

I Have always stayed in Soi 7 or 8 Usually at one of the Flippers or Eastiny group, they have all increased their prices so I am looking for a change of hotel/area on next trip for 10 days in March. At the moment I am thinking of one of the following hotels AA hotel Soi 13 , Natures View Soi Buakhao or Opey De Place Soi Lengkee all seem to fit my requirements. I am looking for a room rate of around 1000 Baht a night and a swimming pool. Any positive or negative comments on the above hotels would help also if they are girl friendly or any other suggestions which I can add to my list woul

e-bookers have just e-mailed me to say my flight back to LHR on the 5/9/12 has been cancelled as they have been informed by the airline that there has been a change to my flight(s) due to an operational schedule change the airline has made to their planned flight timings and I have been given 3 options re my booking. Come back on the 6th . cancel booking with full refund or change the date of travel up to 2 weeks from my original date of departure.

Went in a cuple of time in March but very quite but still mae to feel welcolm, only really went in to see one of the service girls but she was not there as she had gone home for a funeral and while there had badly burned her legs ( saw the photos to prove it) but will visit again in August.
