Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

DAYS IN THE LIFE OF A PATTAYA HOTEL OWNER
Braveheart replied to cookie's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Well cookie I guess I can only say that it is a good thing you are not runnning a hotel in Canada. We have one full province and parts of a few others full of those 'F' word buggers. -
Welcome to the board. You'll need to apply for access to the Member's section if you want to see the good stuff and get the best info.
-
More than likely they will let you through a couple or a few times and then they will hit you with an intensive search.
-
Her's a link to a post with a decent map but you probably won't be able to access it without access to the 'members' area. If you haven't already requested access just send a PM to Admin. Pattaya Map Here's the map on that link:

Hmmm? What about Hammer's 'Living theDream' thread which he does once per month. -
Depression... what to me to do?
Braveheart replied to AnjelikaM's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Welcome. I am not sure that this is the place for you to get the answers to your questions. If you are truly a woman living in Afghanistan then I would suggest you find a site that consists of women helping each other rather than a male dominated board such as this. If however you should decide to stick around here and apply for full membership then I suggest you pose you question in the ASK DR. BIG CHIEF thread once you have access. -
Have a look in the mirror. On the way home that ear to ear grin your wearing now will become a frown. That's how a monger looks coming and going from SFO.
-
Same same me when I came through SFO in June. As an extra special kick in the nuts they did the same to me in Vancouver a few hours later.

Dear Member, Please see the below information about the security regulations affecting EVA Air passengers using all European Union (EU) airports . EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, THE FOLLOWING RESTRICTIONS APPLY TO LIQUIDS, GELS, AND/OR AEROSOLS FOR PASSENGER HAND BAGGAGE SCREENING AT ALL EUROPEAN UNION (EU) AIRPORTS • No liquids, gels, and/or aerosols are permitted, EXCEPT: 1. Liquids, gels, and/or aerosols in containers of no more than 100 milliliters (3.4 oz.) on board the aircraft. 2. These containers must be carried in transparent plastic bags. 3. There is a limit of one transparent plastic bag per person. 4. The volume of the transparent plastic bag may not be greater than 1 liter. 5. The transparent plastic bag must be re-sealable. • The plastic bag must be completely closed/sealed and subjected to x-ray inspection separate from the passenger's carry-on bag. • There are two exceptions to the above rules: o Baby food needed during the flight; o Medicines needed during the flight. • All other liquids, gels, and/or aerosols may be transported in checked baggage. • Shopping at European airports and on board European airlines: You can still do your shopping, including duty-free shopping, at EU airports after passport control and on European airline flights. Liquids and gels that you buy after the ticket and/or passport control or on board will be packed and sealed for you as necessary by the shop or on board. The seal is valid for one day. If you must change to another plane, you may not break the seal until you reach your final destination. • Shopping at non-European airports and on board non-European airlines(e.g. BR flights): If you buy liquids or gels at a non-European airport and on board non-European airlines, and change planes at a European airport, you should allow for the possibility that your purchases will be confiscated at the security checkpoint. Note: Furthermore, traveling from a non-European airport, on board a non-European airline, direct to a European airport as your final destination, your carry on luggage will not be subject to the above restriction.

Welcome to you as well. If you've met MM already then I guess you are off to decent start. Just kidding he's great and full of knowledge. Excellent resource and a great drinking partner as well.
-
Your right I stand corrected. Last New Year's I actually managed to get a TG to walk from the corner of Soi Buakhao and Pattaya Tai to Walking Street and we probably saved a half hour of our time getting there.
-
And it takes forever to get anywhere on Walking Street.

Funny though hasn't made a post there since 05 Oct o6. Wonder what the problem is? -
Stunners Gallery works fine for me. Might be because you are only 'Registered' and not a full-fledged 'member' yet.
-
Welcome to the board. Glad to have another vet in the crew.
-
Welcome to the board. The phrase 'party central' comes to mind. FLB will be having a New Year's party I'm sure, as will many other places.

First time to Pattaya advice needed
Braveheart replied to JohnCM's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
This is a loaded question. Which area are you looking to be within walking distance of? Soi 2, Soi 6, Soi 7, Walking Street??? What do you consider walking distance? I myself look for a place in the Soi Diana, Soi Buakhao, Soi LK Metro area because of the reasonably central location. Then again I don't mind walking 20-30 minutes to get somewhere if need be. You will find few TGs willing to walk more than 5 minutes or walk someplace that they do not have a direct line of sight to. I think no matter where you stay you will find yourself using the baht bus more frequently than not as they are cheap and run frequently on the main roads. -
Welcome to the board. Hopefully you have applied for full membership and aren't stuck in the 'Registered' area of the board. The members area is where the real discussions take place. Look forward to hearing more from you.

I think Paul got it right Denis. You need to become a full member to have this facility. Paul's suggestion is on the mark.

I've often wondered how idiots like that are able to get along in life at all without a nanny. -
-
Denis, Tried to send you a PM but your PM box is full so I sent you a message on your website.
-
Thanks for the info Denis. I'll probably be in touch soon about staying there in February, provided you have a room available as I'm sure you are receiving plenty of business now especially with all the favourable reviews I have seen in the past few months. One question. Is Mam still working there? She got upset with me last time for not being able to beat me at pool, although she did get several drinks out of the deal.
