  1. Of course you are, it's Friday, Duh! toom39@msn.com
  2. Welcome to the board. Don't be afraid to ask questions and join in the discussions. We're usually pretty friendly but some of us like to joke around a bit as well. Don't get scared off by it as normally it's not serious.
  3. Not going to be there for this trip. Have a good time and enjoy your trip.
  4. Welcome to the board Nakaleen Seems the other BMs have just about covered everthing already. As they said become a full board member and there is much more info readily available to you. Book transport through Mr Toom or Lost in Space, both are on this board and both are reliable. You will find board members at Cherry Bar, FLB, Catz, Lennie's and most likely at Secrets as well. Most are more than happy to meet and share a few drinks as well as answer any questions you may have. Enjoy your trip.
  5. No problem. Shit happens sometimes.
  6. Go into "My Controls" and it will be under "edit profile information".
  7. I've definitely laughed at worse.
  8. Well done monkeydude! Another fine installment to add to the watch collection.
  9. See you over the holidays Tengo.
  10. Welcome to the board. Same rules for flying from Canada to my knowledge. If you have any questions check out the website for your carrier and you should be able to get all the latest on restrictions.

That really depends on a lot of things as to what type of answer you are going to get. #1 - What date do you arrive. Arriving at the new airport will make your times and distances different than arriving at the old airport. #2 - What time of day are you arriving? My answer to your questions will be the same regardless, although others will disagree. No matter what time of day or which airport you are arriving at I would head straight to Pattaya.
  12. Welcome to the board. I can't say what the noise levels are like on the lower floors but I had no problems on the top floor when I stayed there for 2 weeks in May/Jun. Mind you I did most of my sleeping between 5AM and 2PM and don't know what the evening noise levels are like because I was never around.
  13. I don't even work close to the medical profession. Although..... I am quilified to perform first aid.
  14. Any with a sign out front that say Walk-ins Welcome
  15. Not all of them.
  16. Where's the link with your new avatar's finer moments?
  17. First-year students at Med School were receiving their first anatomy class with a real dead human body. They all gathered around the surgery table with the body covered with a white sheet. The professor started the class by telling them, "In medicine, it is necessary to have 2 important qualities as a doctor. The first is that you not be disgusted by anything involving the human body." For an example, the Professor pulled back the sheet, stuck his finger in the butt of the corpse, withdrew it and stuck his finger in his mouth. "Go ahead and do the same thing,"! he told his students. The students freaked out, hesitated for several minutes, but eventually took turns sticking a finger in the butt of the dead body and sucking on it. When everyone had finished, the Professor looked at them and told them, "The second most important quality is observation. I stuck in my middle finger and sucked on my index finger. Now learn to pay attention."
  18. Absolutely correct. I didn't notice the forum it was in, my apologies and I have deleted my responses.
  19. Welcome to the board asianhol. Lots of good info and a fair bit of fun to be found around these parts, enjoy!
  20. I drank as much free booze as humanly possible! Actually it was the return trip that this all occurred on. TGs had me worn out so sleep was not a problem.
  21. I understand what you are saying better now. I have never had a real problem with this as I seldom leave my seat during the flight. On the last trip from SFO to TPE I slept most of 8 hours and only left the seat once for a toilet break. I guess it really depends upon the traveller and their preferences.
  22. Perhaps I am misunderstanding something herebut you start off by saying that the seating is an improvement and you finish by giving your condolences to trans Pacific passengers for having to fly triple 7's. Sounds a bit contradictory to me? I personally would prefer to make the flight on a 777-300 ER than on a 747-400 Combi.
