your expenses will vary depending on what you do but from experience you will need more for that length of time. i went in january 06 for 2 1/2 weeks & i spent close to £2000 & i was still running short towards the end. i couldv'e spent less but my impatience & the thought of leaving pattaya for one last time got the better of me!!! BUT i may be returning in june for one last time!!!

sorry about the vagueness, i'm looking for something like a 2 bedroom apartment with ensuite facilities, not too far from the beach (15-20 minutes away not a problem), 1 or 2 years old or even new. just a rough price. i'll probably do a bit looking around if i make to LOS in june! thx

hello all, thinkin of purchasing an appartment if i make my journey, in june. any tips on the best way of buying one? i've been telling myself after each trip (this will probably be my 5th trip in less than 18 months) no more LOS but i can't seem resist, so i might as well try and purchase an appartment just in case i return.

looks like i'll be opting for thai. still waiting for final confirmation on whether i'll be able to travel. might as well try the the national airline of LOS since this will most definitely be my last trip even though i've been saying that since my second trip back in june 05

which is better? Nana hotel or majestic suites! im thinkin of spending 3 nights in nana when i fly into bkk & then spending 3 nights in the majestic b4 i fly out with pattaya in between. since this will most definitely be my last visit to LOS, i thought i should experience a stay in the nana!!!

i believe the beds are the same size. i was thinking of staying at the mercure in january but it seems that the hotel is a bit out of the way. i wouldn't really want to walk in the middle of the night down some darkened streets especially after some drinks!!!

hi ya, thats what i thought first but there's actually 2 keys needed to open the boxes. the hotel keeps one & you keep one.

i stayed in the deluxe double which was quite spacious (rm 234). bed was quite hard though but it had enough space to fit 3/4 people. TV had bad reception! no problems with the safety deposit boxes at reception

i suggest you book through asiatravel.com it will also save you 20baht. i stayed here in january. decent hotel but could have been better considering the price. deluxe room is slightly larger than the superior. nb. no in-room safe by the way. availability shouldn't really be a problem!

good luck, make sure you drink a lot of water, cut down on the alcohol otherwise you might not get a stiffy you could also get some vitamin V- 12 for 1100baht from the pharmacy on 2nd road opposite soi 10 look to the right if standing on corner of soi 10?

one more question, which do you think has better legroom in basic economy? i tend to go to sleep on all my flights to LOS. This will be my 5th trip in less than 18 months. (my proposed wedding on hold til late december/early january 07 so why not have one more trip!!!)
