  1. Anyone ever use the" LOUIS' TAVERN CIP GOLDEN LOUNGE " Bangkok terminal 2
  2. http://www.loungepass.com/ You can book a lounge pass in most airports on this site
  3. If you do not use the first half of a ticket you are put down as a no-show... which then means you cannot use the second half ...... i think
  4. I did say that i've never been with Eva so of course i'll have no air miles to upgrade with. The first class non-stop prices were ... Eva .... £1875.00 ..... Qantas ..£4049.00 ... BA ...£5229.00 ..... Or if your happy to have a stop over ... Gulf air £2297.00. Some have said better to go Business class with BA or Qantas, going by what most people think here and what i know myself ... i would say your right. The only thing is A Qantas business class is £2925.00 and the the BA is £3015.00. The Eva business ticket was £1223.00 and as for world traveller plus .... i'll go with Niall on this I'll be flying out on the 6th March 2005, all the above prices were for that day
  5. Thanks everone .... I was in the SAS london lounge last year ... and Roland is right it does not come close to the Thai lounge in Bangkok. I've never been with Eva before but the price of £1700 return first class,(all the times i've looked before it's been 3000 to 4000). i'm giving it a go. But i did hope it was not the SAS London lounge .... don't get me wrong it is a nice lounge but no food or no hot food does let it down
  6. Hi all Does anyone know which lounge evaair use at Heathrow tem 3
  7. Maybe a silly thing to ask .... but if you buy a ticket from london to Bangkok with Eva for around £450.00 return, could you pay at the airport to get an upgrade to 1st class on the out flight ..... anyone ever done this

  10. Just been looking at flights London to Bangkok, as others are telling as, some very good prices... jUNE £420.00 with tax...... BUT ... as i'll be returning with Joy and baby at first it looked a very good price .. But Thai want the full £420.00 for a baby that would be sitting on Joy's lap ..... i think i'll be flying with BA this year as the ticket is more £533.00 with tax and £140.00 for the baby ....... Thai total £1260.00 .. BA total £1206.00
  11. Can anyone tell me the price you should pay for a ticket in Business class (London to Bangkok with Eva ) in June 2004, and were would the best place be to buy the ticket. Thanks for any help
  12. If you fly with BA on the 30th Dec and return on the 13th or 14th Jan; this flight is around £600.00
  13. i Gus .... Had a great time in Pattaya, meet up with some of the guys ;D never had a good time in the village as on this trip we stayed in the village for 4 nights. As for the flight, i went economy class; the plane was full in all class on the Bangkok to London and could only see 1 or 2 empity seats going to Bangkok
  14. Have just got back from Thailand .... had a great flight with lots of leg room and good food. I'll have to put Thai air in the number one spot with Qantas
  15. Just back from Thailand on the 30th June on Thai airways. Plane full coming and going. The plane was full in all class's on the flight back to London
  16. Nidnoyham, How and were did you get the information on how full or unfull the plane is ???. Thanks
  17. I went with Turkish airlines in March, (when i went to pick Joy up) I only had an hour stop-over. All in all the flight was very good; not as good as BA, but you do get more leg room and less people travel with them so you can move around. I found them to be a lot better than China airlines. The food is o.k, as good as BA and better than China airline. Thats a very good price and i would go with them
  18. Hi Valentinoxxx I like the sound of flying with Thai via Paris, as the dates 19th Dec to 10th Jan are the dates i've been looking at. cannot find this flight on the net. So please give me more info Thanks again Gerald
  19. If anyone finds a good price to fly out London to Bangkok around xmas/newyear on Thai (fly out, fr 3 weeks) can you PLEASE post here with site Thanks
  20. Hi Shilo ....... I don't know if this is going to help, BUT .... on Thai air you can buy air miles and 30,000 is $600.00 US dollars. So going by these prices $370.00 for 40,000 air miles is a good price.
  21. Thank for all the information ..... Back to air miles; i see with Thai you can even buy air miles.
  22. Thai international also give good air miles. On your travel from London to Bangkok you get full air miles; which is around 11,000. BA only give you 25% unless you pay the full price for your ticket, which is around £900.00, full price. Also Thai air gives a min of 500 miles. So on a trip from Bangkok to Udon Thani, which is 295 miles ... you get 500 air miles; 1000 air miles round trip. I think it's around 60,000 air miles for you free ticket; London to Bangkok. I've never been with Thai air, London to Bangkok before.... can someone tell me .... do you get the tv in the back of the seat and what is the food like on the plane? Thanks .... see you in Pattaya soon.
  23. Good news ..... now have tickets ..... ;D within 48 hours ;D
