Large safe and a good price

Hi all. I have a pal visiting Pattaya for a couple of months in the near future. He's on a tight(ish) budget and his requirements are for a guest friendly hotel on the baht-bus circuit or close too with the following features:

 

Large in room safe, big enough for a laptop computer.

 

Good size swimming pool with a sun terrace.

 

24 hour room service.

 

Secure motorbike parking.

 

King-sized double bed.

 

Ic-cold aircon.

 

He can run to around 6-800 per night, but the cheaper the better.

 

Any recomendations/suggestions??

Yes, I suggest that he not drive a motorbike in Thailand.

I'm not saying that such a place doesn't exist but there are a couple of deal breakers in there.

 

First, I don't know of any hotels in that price range that have an in the room safe to hold a laptop. Most in room safes are much smaller even in the pricy hotels.

 

Second, 24hour room service. Again, it can be found but not in that price range.

 

I would suggest that he bring a hard sided suitcase and lock the laptop in there when he isn't using it. Or use a cable lock as is commonly available.

 

And all the hotels have a refrigerator so just stock up on goodies when he arrives.

 

As far as the other requirements are concerned, no problem.

24 Hour room service is going to be hard, but there are more than enough food stands around to ease that requirement. I was trying to find one in the low end of his budget .
