Hotels provide a safety box or in-room safe for your valuables. What about for apartment rentals?

Just have to ask. Some do and some don't. Most of the condos are furnished by the individual owners so it is up to them if they install one or not. I installed one in my condo when I rented. Cost about 7000 baht installed.

It depends, of course.

Some Appartments for rental also are equipped with a Safe box.

I now rent a House, and bought a Safe (50 kg, attached to the floor by two strong screws) for about 5000 Bt including transportation. The smaller safes you see in most Hotel rooms can be bought for around 3000 Bt a piece.

I'm more interested in the situation where you stay for a month or three. Let's say that you're renting an inexpensive place (6,000 - 10,000 baht) that doesn't have its own safe. Can you go to a bank and rent a safe deposit box? What dopeople do?
