What is the difference between the standard rooms in the old building and new building apart from 450 bt a night and is it best to book rooms in advance or is just better to just turn up and book a room bearing in mind i will be arriving mid november

I'm told they are bigger and as the block is newer, they are in better nick.

 

I stayed there last time, and I got a rate of 850 per night for the new block by dealing with them direct.

 

There are some rooms that I thought faced the beach that have balconys. I did not get one of those. (although thinking about it, I think they must face south).

 

I am back next week, and am staying there again. I have not stayed anywhere else in Pattaya, but the Lek is better than the hotels I have stayed at in BKK (Majestic Suites and Honey ).
