Unless i mis-read the flipper site cheapest rate listed was 1000 baht ,is this rate you can get by e mailing ahead or at reception upon arrival??

If you like the P&W, then you will like the Queen Vic as well. 550 for a standard, 650 for a flat (suite). It's also on sleazy soi 6. I have a review posted in the review section.

I saw 250bt and 300bt just up the soi from my place at the baybreeze (500bt) , its the pornmalee hotel and tassaporn house, theres another one, but I cant remember the name. Both have aircon rooms, or helicopter (celing fans).

 

One of those places has a few regular falangs that hang outside on a table infront the hotel and drink from 7:00 am(or earlier) to very late at night, everyday

I liked Mike's Beach on Soi 4. I always got a rate of 600 a night, maybe because of my length of stays/frequencies. Quiet location, large pool, large room and balcony, view of the bay and 2 free bottles of water/day. For the time being avoid becuase of the construction of the Northshore condo.

 

This trip discovered the Holiday Mansion and I'm paying 12,000 a month. An excellent place to stay for those that are not afraid to venture out of the Beach Rd/2nd Rd rectangle. Many of the TG's live in this area and if I wasn't with GF would have persued many of the smiles I received while walking in this area.
