I have my own version of "The Thai Girl who broke my heart" , but it's not all too different than the hundreds that have been written/spoken before. I won't go into details, other than to say I blame my own ignorrance and my own overwhelming desire to BELIEVE the attachment was genuine verses being played by a "player". It's taken me some time to deal with the emotional aspect of having been a "victim" or "target" , but alas I hope I've become stable enough to deal with it on my own terms without being too cynical. -- It will take some time to again accept or trust anyone too intimately , but I'm trying my best not to have let it change who I am or what I think of myself. And, as the saying goes "hate the game, not the player", I'm also trying to do my best not to despise the individual who "played me", for I understand her situation and her need to do as she must to support herself and her family. I just won't be as blind next time (next month actually!! yea!!) and keep things on a "lets have a great time while I'm here" basis...
