Me and 5 other lads are coming to Pattaya soon, our flights sorted but we havent a clue where to stay, we heard it's just best to book on arrival, but is that true? a little help would be appreciated, cheers.

Davey

PS: were all about 20ish so somewhere lively would be nice.

Dave,

Your first time in & you want somewhere "lively". I recommend Eastiny Place on Soi 8. Two reasons 1) Location is great & baht bus on 2nd road or on Beach road is just a 1 minute walk out your hotel door. You can get anywhere in minutes. 2) It's on Soi 8 smack dab in the middle of a ton of beer bars! Location, location!

Also, take a look at the hotel review thread on this board. Search for Eastiny. Manye pics have bene posted. It's fine and rooms sparkling clean.

Have a great trip,

Mark

If the Eastiny Place is booked, try the sunshin next door or the Flipper Lodge or Eastiny Inn just down the soi. Nearby on Soi 7 is the Flipper House and if you don't need a pool go to the Bella Vista between Sois 7 & 8.

Come on Greg....

tell the lads where to stay..... not at the first stay !!!!

Stay in the Nova Lodge, Flipper ... at the first time !

Or as a firsttimer, try the Siam Bayshore .

Not cheap, but central and no Joiner fee if you book via Email.

@greg

still have your restaurant near the Pinewood ?,

(I still had the best food at your rest.,) !

or

Khun Vic

Victoria ?

Make sure you get a written guarantee if staying at Bayshore/Bayview. They are together with the Cliff famous for being among the most un-friendly places in town.

Also careful with Nova. They don't get the best reviews these days.

WTF...?

I don't live in Pattaya or have a business in Pattaya. You have me confused with someone else.

Nothing wrong with the hotels on Soi 6, it's a fun street.

Next time do a little research before replying to a post.. :D
