upgrade possible?

Hi everyone, I have booked tickets for me and my wife to go to Pattaya on in July for 3 weeks flying with Emirates economy class from Manchester. My question is can I upgrade my seats to business class and at what cost?

 

Would I do this at the airport or would I just ring the company who I booked the tickets through as I have already received the tickets for the economy seats.

Ring the travel agent, they will advise you either way....!!!!!

You should phone both the agent and the airline (Emirates is 0870-243 2222) and get a quote for the upgrade - probably best to phone the agent first so that you can put that price to Emirates to see if they will better it). The agent would be within their rights to charge an "administrative fee" for the change but they may waive it if they are making more cash from the booking so you should check that when speaking to them.

 

The cost is likely to be the difference what you paid for your ticket and the cheapest biz class fare - currently, for July 7 departures, discounted biz class is running at circa GBP 1,675 - 1,750 (incl taxes) depending upon the agent.
