Could someone tell me the best hotel/s to stay at which do not charge for overnight lady guests? I've stayed at the siam bayshore and was dissapointed when I was charged 800 baht each night. Having read through the forum it seems people are quick to announce they know plenty of great hotels that don't charge LG fees but dont go on to list them??? Must apreciated

Mate,

The main reason is that there are literally hundreds of hotels in town and the vast majority don't have a joiner fee.

I usually choose Soi 13 due to its location. I've stayed at the Lek Hotel, the Dynasty Inn, Ma Maison, and the Haven. None of these charge for TG's.

Let us know your budget, and I'm sure you'll get enough suggestions as to a good place to rest your weary bones.

Cheers Lemons

I've got enough for the upper end hotels (hard rock, siam's, montein ect) but I've read most of these types of hotels also charge LG fees, which i'd prefer to spend on the girl. so I'm wondering which hotels the smart farangs go to? cheers lemons

Yep dead right. Those upper end pubs are more likely to charge a joiner fee. Don't know about the H/Rock though. Never satayed there but I know a few mongers do.

Every bloke on this board will have their favorite hotel, and what is a castle for me, may be shite for you.

Here's a link to the Ma Maison in Soi 13. My personal pick, although it's Swiss run so most of your fellow guests will be European. No worries with ladies.

750thb with A/B/fast, in room safe, A/cond and Pool.

General tip: Wherever you chose, try it for 1 or 2 nights first. In this town it's usually never a hassle to either extend your stay, or simply pack up and try somewhere different.

Just returned from 10 days in Pattaya and stayed at the Nova Park. One bedroom suite for 1500b per night. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. No problem even with multiple guests and has a great Irish pub (Jamesons) on site. Very good sized rooms and bed, in room safe and nice swimming pool and very quiet.

Only drawback is that it is a little off the beaten track.

You've got a point steveo, sounds like the ideal place to unwind for two weeks. Not sure if Nova Park is the same place as Nova Lodge Hotel? Did you prebook through an agent or online? Seems those that book online ar more likely to bypass the dreaded LG fee. Also is 10-14 nights enough or too much of a good thing? cheers

Marriott doesn't charge for your guest. Book a double. Excellent location on the Beach. I've stayed there and liked it. Expensive for Pattaya.

hi, I would think that if you can afford to pay the inflated prices of the high end hotels then a few extra baht for a joiner fee would not make a difference, and the proximity to the action is a plus for most guys and a must for many

I have only stayed at the Residence Garden , but I thought it was a great deal for the money. (1340bht). I am heading back on June 1 and will stay there again for 2 weeks. Very quiet, nice pool and very good food. All rooms are suites.Bring as many girls back as you want.....no fees

I would echo steveo's thoughts on the Nova Park (not to be confused with the Nova Lodge). I stayed there at Xmas and New Year (just as Jamesons and the New Wing were being completed) and found it great value for money - far enough away from the action to be quiet but only a 5-10 min walk to Soi 6 or a 5-10 min bike ride to most other popular haunts around town.
