Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

As this is a very active forum, always try a search before posting queries like this. You will find numerous threads on this very topic. Taxis, limos, cars, buses, minibuses, etc etc. It's all there.

Meter taxi from Airport to Pty will be about 1000thb + allow 200thb for tolls. (Take the tollway option, as it's much quicker). If you're starting from the CBD BKK, it will largely depend on the traffic getting outa Dodge.

how much is a taxi from bangkok to pattya

you could use the search function, it really works

You can get taxis from anywhere between 800 Baht to 2500 Baht. You could also use a Minibus for between 200 and 300 Baht. I would say, if you take a regular taxi, you should be able to get it for about 1000 to 1200 Baht, really depends on how desperate the driver is and on how well you can bargain.

If you want to try something different, take the Bus (if you don't have too many bags) - that is just about 100 Baht and just as fast.

cheers

Arrange it ahead of time and you can get it done for 1200 baht...that's how I do it. I like having someone there to meet me and get straight down to PTY. khrong fa in pattaya can set it up for you ahead of time using email...

The Mook, I too have used Khrong Fa without any real problems. Decent cars, always on time and easy to work with drivers. On my trip to Pattaya, I requested the driver to stop at a really good seafood place before we got there. He brought me to a place on the other side of the expressway, overlooking a beach, albeit lowtide and sandy. In this restaurant was the best and cheapest seafood I had in Thailand. oysters, fish, prawns and crab fried rice....yummmy can't wait to get back...:)...Sorry to be a little off topic...

Ms. Arunee will be the one who replies to your email. I have used them the last 8 times without any problems. It sounds like you've never been to Bangkok. There are 2 international terminals, make sure you know which one you'll be arriving so that their driver is at the correct one. Also I always send them an email just before I leave my home.
