Don Muang to Pattaya - Tues July 5th

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Arriving at Terminal 2 at about 12.30pm on Tues July 5th, and looking to head straight to fun town.

I've given up prebooking drivers after several disasters, so was planning to just jump a cab. If you have a ride arranged, no worries.

Hey Lemons,

Have a wonderful trip and be sure to say Hi to Pla at We Are the World. Wow long is your trip? I am about a month behind you - leaving for trip 19 on Aug. 02 and excited already.

Bear194,

Thanks for that! 3 glorious weeks in the region, as I am planning a short trip back to Cambo to inspect, and report on, the goings on in Sihanoukville. However I acknowledge my obligation to 'do my time' in Pattaya, assisting the Bg's with their needs.

Your trip will come around quickly, don't worry.

Lemons, the Nana Plaza driver went way beyond the call of duty for me. But even so, while he waiting over an hour for me to show up in arrivals, someone parked behind him in the parking garage blocking him in and delaying me even more time.

Yeah, I've had the good and the bad experiences with drivers at the airport. The last 2 trips have been 'problematic', so I swore off the prebooked services and will simply take a cab, either from the queue or upstairs at departures.

Bear194, I will be most happy to give Pla a hug for you. :D

Lemons,

I will see you at the party at flb on the 5th. If you get there early like by 6:30 and buy 2 bottles of tequila for the girls then I will ring the bell. :D

Sounds ok ... I think. (The cheap charley in me keeps thinking about 2 bottles of DUTY FREE tequila!)

Anyway, I've never been to a FLB party before, so here's a lame question. Do you have to book or something, or just rock up?

See you there regardless, Lemons

Lemons,

in all but the most rare cases parties are open to all. bottles of tequila cost 1800 baht each. ringing the bell on a party night can cost an easy 5000-7000 baht. ringing the bell early is cheaper becuase there are fewer punters on board. july is also cheaper becuase Bg count will be down maybe 35 girls. biz is slower so a lot of girls go home to village etc etc. add in the service staff (i usually do) and the drink count just for employees can reach 50. I always buy drinks for the service staff that's why I am a hansum man. LOL. :beer :clap1
