That seems a reasonable deal - I've just booked Emirates Manchester - Bkk departing 25 August for £537. I did this through Thomas Cook who came up with the best price. Emirates suits me with a break about midway into the journey. The meals and cabin service I think are as good as you are going to get with tourist class. Also after making the trip problem free 10 times with them I have concluded that they are reliable.

What exactly does the insurance consist of ?. I have an annual policy which costs me £90, which seems to cover me for all eventualities, although thankfully I have yet to test it out with a claim.
