Bangkok Domestic airport to Pats

I am flying from Phuket to Bangkok and then travelling down to Pats. I assume there will be a lot less opportunity to share cabs etc however I was wondering if there was any up sides?

I also assume that if I wanted to go by bus that the airport bus calls into the domestic terminal as well?

Any thoughts

When you get to Bangkok airport call 097500947 , this guy organises fares for cabs returning to Pattaya, I met him outside domestic terminal on return from Chiang Mai, he takes you 3 km off airport to where cabs wait, very professional, fare 900 baht cabby pays tolls , he started with 1000 but I talked him down no problem.

The domestic airport is only 3-400 yards from terminal 2 and there's a covered, air-conditioned walkway between them. It comes out in departures, which many boardies will tell you is the best place to snag a cheap cab to Pattaya.

 

Have you though of flying Phuket to Utapoe instead? It's only 40 minutes from Pattaya.
