want to rent condo Jomtien

Hi,

I'm wanting to rent a studio condo away from the heavy action area for

two weeks starting in late January.

I'm not really too familiar with the area but think I'd like to stay somewhere up the hill or on into Jomtien rather then Pattaya or to the north.

In the past on much shorter visits I've stayed at the Res. Garden which

was great but for this longer visit the cost would severly limit my ability to donate

to the local suds vendors and ladies charity funds.

From all the reading I've done View Talay seems like a good choice but after emailing 3 sites.. two have no vacancy and Fair Properties replied with a legitimate

question but did not say if they had anything available (waiting to hear now).

Other than that someone has been posting an advert in the rec. travel.asia newsgroup

for studios in the Sunshine Comlex http://www.blueskyview.co.uk/

If any of you know anythng about it I'd be greatfull to hear.

If there are any other properties or contacts you can help with I would really appreaciate it.

OnMyWay and Myself were invited up to see one of these places by an America guy we met at a near by bar. This is a very good location and well kept and clean surrounding area. very close to the Nightlife there in Jomtien. Close to Beach and Baht bus line I would say fair price also based on what I saw there.

I live in View Talay 2 and can thoroughly recommend it. A couple of minute walk to Thrappaya Road and the baht buses whisk you into South Pattaya (Walking Street) in 5 to 10 minutes. Getting back at night is no problem either.

 

The rooms in View Talay 2 are larger than View Talay 1 and VT2 has 2 pools to choose from.

The rooms in View Talay 2 are larger than View Talay 1 and VT2 has 2 pools to choose from.

View Talay 2 has two pools -- that is true. But each pool is only half the size of View Talay's one big pool. VT2, you would have to walk out through the car park and to the other building to try the other pool, and it looks the same anyway, so I am not sure why someone would "choose their pool" there.

 

Saying all this, I think VT2 is a great place to stay, as well as VT1.

assume on site security doesn't hold id cards like hotels
