steve,

Yes, it's guest friendly. I have it on a shortlist of 3 or 4 for my next trip.

Assuming you are aware of its location (at the very end of Soi 4 in Jomtien) and the bahtbus situation, it's probably best described as unusual. The rooms are great to look at but I think the novelty would run out after about 3 or 4 days. The one big drawback that I experienced when I visited it was the request for my CC details by e-mail. Over a secure link I would have no problem but by e-mail is a no-no in my book. I will probably try a walk-in for a few days just for the experience. They have a deal with their sister property on Koh Chang which may be worth considering as a side-trip.

Thanks Tom,

I'll be taking a look at it in December. I'm going back in February with my Daughter, and Mom. I like the fact that they have suites. Mom and kid can stay together, while I head to Walking st at nite. I know the Baht bus situation is limited, but I heard they still run til 2 or 3 in the morning. Is that the case, or is it worse?

steve,

It's no problem to get a bahtbus either from the South Pattaya Road/Second Road traffic lights or as a private hire from further afield. Personally, I think it's no bad thing to stay out at Jomtien since it is very easy to get into the habit of going no further than the Beach Road/Second Road circuit if you are staying in that area.

Thanks for the info above, I stayed here over xmas and new year and it was excellent.

Very plush hotel and nice staff, no problems with guests, reasonable bar and food prices.

My standard suite room at 1500 baht a night was a good size with a decent bed, well equiped kitchen, proper hot water and always very clean.

I'll certainly stay again.

Yeah it does and its nice but quite small and doesnt get much sun.

Instead i just walk 2 mins over the road and use the Dolphin pool at the View Talay condos. As long as you buy drinks or food they dont seem to mind you using the facilities.

Just so you know, the area the hotel is in (Soi 4) is a shithole and under redevolpment. The hotel looks very out of place considering the surroundings but its very nice and well insulated etc. Even with massive fireworks going off outside all xmas and new year it didnt make things unpleasant or too loud.
