Business Class Advice

I normally fly EVA evergreen deluxe and I have gathered enough miles to upgrade to P/L for my visit in Feb. However with the change in aircraft on the LHR bkk flight it now seems not worthwhile fying in the elite class. With this in mind, what are the B/Ms feeling as to the best business class deal avail for someone flying the return leg twice a year taking into account the ff miles etc

I am leaning towards gulf air at the moment with my internet studies but theres nothing to replace the knowledge and advice of people who have used the service.
