Sunshine Vista Serviced Apartments ????

Recommended Posts

Noticed that R24 now shows the standard room price has gone from 900 to1100 baht per night.

The stay 7 nights pay for 6 nights etc still applies.

Cheers

The Sunshine vista is a good place to stay, it is close to everything that you need, bars, shops, laundry. Now it is high season I think you will have to pay more. I stayed there in September and it was about 900 for a room but had a look this time and the same room was about 1600. They are not apartments as such but you can get a studio room with a kitchen but that costs more again, Do not book thru their site as they charge more. No problems bringing ladies back and the staff are nice. The breakfast is ok nothing special. They have wi/fi on the 6th floor and the lobby but if you want they will arrange broadband in your room , if you have a laptop. The place can be loud in the night time till about 1am because of the bands playing in the bars close by. These are not luxury apartments like in Bangkok, just hotel rooms really. :bow :sorry :D

SCG

If booking through R24 or online discounters you have to the full amount before arrival.

Sunshine Vista won`t bargain, you pay the rack rate.

Stayed there last trip ,for the first time paid the full amount by credit card and didn`t regret it.

The bath room has a bath with shower and a seperate big shower with sliding glass door that makes it a bit cramped for space.

Good hotel and staff enjoyed my stay there.

Cheers

Hi,Stayed there in May- June last year and was not impressed.Almost everything they advertised on web site did not happen or did not exist.Buildingwork was going on next door at the time, although I noticed at Xmas it was finished.I dont see how they can be classed as apartments, just big rooms with a small sink and a microwave and kettle. Had a problem with the in-room safe, but it took about six visits and a four hour wait before anything was done. As for the breakfast, well if you like cold soggy chips and warm fruit and fruit juice, then this is the place.

If I had not paid for my full stay in advance, I would have been out of there PDQ.

Hope this helps

The Sunshine Vista Apartments just quoted me, via e-mail, a rate 350 Baht a night higher than the current rates posted on their web site for the same period. Their web site shows a rate of 1,700 Baht a night for the room and time period in question, but by e-mail they quoted me 2,050 Baht. I'll pass.

:clueless

Interpret this however you like.

I stayed there for about 3-4 weeks in June and July. I booked the room through passionasia.com and got a much better rate than through the hotel. I tried to look up passionasia and the website was so slow that I gave up trying to check the current price.

First time I was there I stayed on the 6th floor and everything was good. On my return from Phuket I stayed on the 4th floor and that room was pretty worn out.

The noise from the hallway can be rather loud if your are near the elevator. Try and get a room as far from the elevator as possible.
