Can anyone recommend a hotel around 2500 baht near the eden club on soi 7/1.

I know the hotel review section has a Bangkok category but i am not very familiar with bangkok and would not know :thumbup if the hotels are near or far from the eden club.

Cheers.

Here is a map of the area. You are spoilt for choice.

Sukhumvit

Soi 7/1 is the little street between soi 7 and soi 9 on the map. the Majestic Suites 1600baht for double superior room is good value. It is located between Nana and the Landmark on the map.

I would recommend the Majestic Grande on soi 2 at 2900 baht if you can afford the extra. Great breakfast and a high standard of hotel for that price. Manhatten is OK if a little faded at about 1500 baht for a double - you do need to book a double here if you itend to bring guests back. Omni Towers on Soi 4 - serviced appartments - swimming pool - about 2300 baht.

People rave about the Swiss Grottino.

There is a lot of choice - read the reviews. You can locate the hotel by reading what soi it is on then locating it on the map. All those hotels and many more are located in the action. Just make sure you book somewhere without guest fees.

I have just booked to stay in Bel-Air Princess, I think thats nearby the action on Sukhumvit.

Nice Hotel very near the action on soi 5 down past Gulliver’s (a nice FL venue) can cut through to soi 7 for the beer Garden then a short hop to 7/1. Not 100% sure if it is guest friendly though! Have heard reports some say it is some say it isn’t! I stayed there about 3 years ago but had a GF with me for the 4 night stay so that part I’m not sure of! I would contact the Hotel directly and confirm If I were you.

With all due respect, the Landmark is an overpriced mid-range hotel, I...M...H...O..., even with stay three days, next free deal.

If you're up to splashing that sort of cash, you'd be better off booking the Marriott through Priceline (don't bid, contact their help desk) which will cost you around 3k a night.

Alternatively, if you're only after a bed, book a room in the new wing of the Nana Hotel Resort and Spa.

Mid-range hotels in LOS are a let down. Go ***** or flop house.

I too agree with the Majestic Grande suggestion. You may find cheaper places, but the luxury you get is worth the extra cash. By American or European standards, the price of a room is still a great bargain. 3 months ago they charged 2900 BHT for a room. I think it might have gone up slightly since then. But we're still talking less than $75 a night.
