The J-House on Beach Road falls into your budget. It is in South Pattaya next door to Royal Garden Plaza and has a fab pool on the roof.

No need to book except in high season.

And here is a pic of the pool on the room; quite frequently you have it to yourself or you and one other :party

I stay at www.skytoppattaya.com It's an 8 room guest house on 2nd Road less then 2 minutes away from soi 6. Cost is 450 per night and up. Rooms are clean with AC, TV, fridge and in room safe. High speed internet café located on the ground floor. Guest friendly and a no hassle place to stay. Aussie owned and Pete the owner is a good guy. Tell him Denny sent you and ask for a discount. :ang2

Pentire, you are a true celebre!

I too can recommend the J House as it represents great value for money. I also like Sandy Spring on soi 13 where a sea view room can be had for 1200b.

Off season, the flipper lodge at the bottom of soi 8 is pretty good. pay five nights, get seven. Roof top pool, and right near the action. get a seaview no problem. In hotel massage is 300 baht for one hour oil massage. just a great way to spend an hour getting an oil massage. I was there in June and paid an average of 565 baht I think. Normal off season rate is about 750 baht.

The rooms at Anna Jet are of the shit hole variety and only suitable for romping one of the bar staff before getting back to enjoying the evening in Pattaya.

This is a pic from a typical AJ room

What about the J-house website or e-mail address.Anyone got it?

No one shall have it because it does not exist.

The Owner is too stingy to invest, eventhough I have explained to her the extra income & occupancy it would create :finger

Anyway, the fact that they do not have a website usually means you can turn up on spec and check in.

They do have a telephone (038) 420852, 414453 & Fax 429446.

The J-House has 30 rooms and the second floor means less stairs to climb plus it's only a 30 second walk from a major Bar area :hairout
