Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

I've stayed there heaps of times, and used to tout it a bit on the boards. I was there in Feb and have to say it has slipped in value a bit. Still a great location, and great staff.

I was charged 1100baht for a 'suite', which was a standard room with a mirror glued onto the ceiling. :thumbup

To be fair, the Suite is bigger and has more furniture than a Standard room.

Honestly, I must have got a dud then. I have stayed in the standard rooms heaps of times - and this 'suite' was exactly the same dimensions, with the same furniture ... except for the mirror.

I had booked a standard room, and it was only as I was checking out, that I found I apparently had a suite, (for an extra 200baht per night). In hindsight I should have queried it at that point.

There could be something in what you say. Though in my case, I was staying in a Superior Room whilst at the same time a friend was staying in a Standard Room.

Apart from a considerably larger room, I had a high quality table and chairs and a larger TV etc There was an easily discernible difference.

I haven't seen every room, so there could be differences.

I think it is a very nice little hotel. Stayed last year and really enjoyed it. They keep a very clean establishment. Room was always cleaned spotlessly and the pool area is beautiful.

Nice, cute staff, and good restaraunt.

They added wireless while I was there in Nov, but I didn't have the need to use it.

I will be staying there in May again, and bringing my laptop, so can anyone comment on the quality of the wireless?

I would love to hear about the wireless. I like to go there for lunch and if I could take my laptop and sit in the restaurant, clear e-mails, read my home newspaper and check out this board it would be great. Anyone used the wireless?

jimmac,

last I spoke with Rafael, he said the signal is a little weak in some of the further rooms, but is working fine in the restaraunt and pool area.

I hope so.

I'm going to need to work some this trip, and it will be nice to leave the loom and work in the restaraunt/bar. When I was there last Nov, he had a real sweet and cute staff working the desk and restaraunt. Rather sit out there and work anyway.
