July-Oct

Last year it was a very humid and there were electrical storms and periods of rain on most days. Not really and inconvenience though as throughout the day storms etc never seem to last that long.

Get your ticket booked and like the Jap's....don't forget your brolly :D

For all intents and purposes you could think of Thailand as having two types of weather- Hot and Sweltering.

Majority of the rains in rainy season will occur in late afternoon or evenings into early mornings, after the thermals have caused the collided and induced massive thunder clouds to vent their froth.

Bring a flexible mindset and respond accordingly and you will be little bothered. While it's raining stay where you are and allow it time to piddle out. Then, allow a bit more time for the roads to drain.

Once it does clear, if it's early enough for the sun to be in full force then assume that the humidity will go through the roof and get set to either swelter or evacuate to the nearest air-conditioned zone.
