This is a sister hotel to the Areca - anybody stay there yet? Any good or bad comments on the place?

Mmmmm, I have to say it looks real nice although being a night person the location would be less than ideal and it gets bloody hot it that part of town due to a lack of sea breeze etc.

It does look nice. Strange however that they have no pics of their executive suites??

I stayed in Phuphaya Resort in the beginning of february and the construction works were not ready then even if the HP of Mind Resort said it had opened in december, which I doubt.

I was staying at Areca in March,and chatted to a few Swedes who were staying there {Mind Resort}.

 

They said it was beautifull,but a bit far out of town,even though there is a complimentary Mini Bus.

 

I sent them an email,to see if there was a joiner fee,and they refred me to the web site,which had no info about over nighters.

 

Give it a few months to settle things.

Sounds like an excellent place for my needs. My wife, our three month old daughter, and I plan on staying there for three days before going to her village near Buriram.

The rest of the place had better be pretty nice because the rooms @32 m2 look rather plain to me for 36k per month? Perhaps more of a family place than monger oriented?

 

I think one of the LK's would serve you better with a bit more room.

Maybe Nancy {The Manager} is trying to keep the Mongers at Areca,and send the families to Mind Resort.

 

Great idea i think,the looks we get from Farang Whales at breakfast when we stagger in with two or more BGs,is enough to put you off your Cornflakes,just.
