Just a thought - what are those rooms actually worth per day? I know the website gives a price of 400baht, which is too much?

I agree - they look grim, but for say 150, I might be tempted to slum it! Then again, the bathrooms look dire. I think I'd be embarrased to bring back a lady and I'm no snob!

Everything has a price, right? For 100baht a night, why not?

I stayed in this place in K'ebri Dehar Ethiopia that makes Annajet look like a five star. If it is reasonably clean, I could stay there no problem. Looks pretty cheap and close to the nightlife. But I'm a simple guy.

Anybody you stays there at the price of 500B. needs there head looked. The Apex is 5star by comparison and comes in at the same price. WTF... it is a dismal hole and rampaging buffalos couldnt force me to spend a night in that place :beer

i have just come back after staying at annajets for 3 weeks.. first room they gave me was the pits dirty, shower didnt work so i complained and got moved to another room a7. this one was alot better. clean and tidy and the bed was fine. had cleaner everyday and bed linen changed every 2 days all in all i found it ok and while there couldnt really be bothered to look around for somewhere else. was too busy enjoying myself. they are in the process of decorating all the rooms now as well.

It has its place and why not ask for Bt400 when some idiot may pay it ? C'mon Larry, not everyone would live in your place either.

They ask a figure and will take a reasonable offer. Seems sensible to me.

About time I made a response - Anna and I own Anna Jet! I have tried to be honest about the rooms on the web site - but they aren't shite (I stay there).

Firstly lets respond to some of the comments:

1) The photos are of A10 - it is one of the rooms normally reserved for the girls - they sleep 3-4 to a room and they get a fridge, TV, en-suite etc - compared to their homes in Buri Nowhere it's luxury. These rooms don't have air-con or outside windows - they are cheaper but you have to be a real tight arse to pick one (unless you are lucky enough to be sharing it with the girls)

2) Security - All the air-con rooms now have in-room safes - we have also changed the locking system and put an automatic closer on the outside door.

3)Beds - we have bought new sprung mattresses for all the air-con rooms (actually we are still waiting for the last 2 to arrive).

That being said - they are still rooms over a busy bar - and I can't change that! It's a trade off.

-If you want to impress Bar Girls - don't stay at Anna Jet (they don't give a shit anyway - it just encourages them to up their expectations)

-If you want a quiet evening in, sipping cocoa and going to sleep at 10 - don't stay at Anna Jet (why are you in Pattaya anyway?) We turn our outside speakers off at 1am and since the landlord has the first floor it's his family who enjoy the late, late music (why not - we pay a fortune in rent and key money).

- If you want to do a quick short-time with the girl who shows you the room - stay at Anna Jet (you still have to pay bar however)

- If you like to Party Hard, take a girl upstairs for an hour and then come back to pick another before crawling to bed - stay at Anna Jet.

- If you never use the swimming pool, coffee-shop and shops selling Thai Silks and carved thingys and would prefer to keep your money for wine, women and song - stay at Anna Jet.

And if you choose not to stay with us - then that's fine - but I hope you'll join us in the bar - ask for me (Peter/Boss) and we'll share a few drinks together!

Hi Peter. I'm a big fan of the your bar and have spent quite a few baht there. Unfortunately i'm not sure if we have met as I was shit faced everytime i was there. :banana

Have you got any pics of the aircon rooms that you could post ?
