I need a professional plumber

My drain won't clear up in one of my condos. I bought a snake at home pro, also used a Draino sort os solution but doesn't work also. The workers in my building can't clear it up. Does anyone have any experience hiring a professional plumber, or have any leads?

Try boiling hot water. Clear out the water present first and pour it in. Amazing stuff.

Hi Bangakiboy

My friend has had this problem in VT2. I am no plumber but from memory the problem could be several floors down from your Condo so Draino and the snake will not do any good. I think he said that the grease traps are not on each floor but are spaced one for several floors down the building.

Find some one who knows the VT layout and they should be able to fix it quickly. The pipes are accessed from a inspection panel in the hallway.

Your advice does help. It clarifies some of what I have already been told/known. I can surely try the boiling water idea, but I don't have a lot of hope since the chemicals didn't work. I will keep pressing the issue downstairs to see who can really bust these pipes open. :)
