I sent a two question inquiry to the Jasmine Hotel and I was impressed enough with the speed and amount of information that I thought I would share it with everyone. It is a new hotel and is just getting its wings. Naturally I have edited out personally identifiable information.

 

 

Thank you for contacting Jasmine Mansion in connection with your forthcoming visit to Pattaya during the slow season. The following room types are available and rates are shown for daily/5+ nights/monthly stays. The suite rooms are on the fourth floor and we do not have a lift to the building. however, the stairways are wide and not very steep. The large double rooms are also relatively spacious and benefit from a balcony.

 

 

 

Standard Double - B550per night/B500 per night/B13500 per month (30 nights)

 

 

 

Standard Double with Balcony - B650/B550/B15500

 

 

 

Large Double with Balcony - B750/B700/B17000

 

 

 

Suite Room - B800/B750/B18500

 

 

 

The room rent is payable upon your arrival in cash (Thai Baht) together with a B1000 deposit which is refunded upon your departure, we do not yet accept payment by Credit Card..

 

 

 

All of these rooms contain personally controlled air con, personal electronic safe, fridge/mini bar, TV with 60 channel cable connection, double bed, built-in double wardrobe, vanity unit, bathroom and they are cleaned every day. The balcony rooms rooms also have a table and chairs on the balcony.

 

 

 

The suite rooms are significantly larger and additionally include: small kitchen area, a range of built-in wardrobes, dining table and 2 chairs, 2 armchairs and a Queen sized bed.

 

 

 

The rooms and guest areas are redecorated annually and constantly maintained throughout the year.

 

 

 

Other hotel services include: Motorbike Rental; DVD Player Rental; Internet Office with high speed connectivity plus printing and copying facilities; 24 hour bar; 24 hour reception with night security; CCTV coverage of guest floors and an electronic security entrance to the room floors.

 

 

 

We also have now fully opened our Full of Beans Café and Restaurant with full menu from breakfasts to main meals (Thai and Euro food) and snacks such as croissants, sandwiches, baguettes, burgers etc. A full room service menu is also available.

 

 

 

We are able to arrange a limousine to collect you from or return you to the airport should you so wish. The present price is B1850 including toll fees and this will be with our own driver and new Toyota Camry ensuring you of a very comfortable ride to/from Pattaya. This rate is for collection from Don Muang airport and we have not yet calculated prices for the new International Airport due to open this summer although the actual date is still not known - and may well now not be until 2007!

 

 

 

Our aim is to provide our customers with a clean and safe environment with a high level quality and friendly service through which they can enjoy their stay in the heart of Pattaya. I believe we are achieving these goals and by the number of repeat visits made by our guests I feel we have created a good reputation in a relatively short period of time.

 

 

 

We opened partially between September 2003 to June 2004 enabling us to identify any problem areas. We then closed for a few months, undertook necessary alterations and fully opened in October, 2004. In 2005 our overall occupancy level was in excess of 85% and for 2006 to date stands at over 90%.

 

 

 

Guests of the hotel are welcome to bring visitors back to their rooms - without charge! We do, however, require any visitor to leave their ID at reception which is for the safety of our guests.

This is not Jasmine Hotel but Jasmine Mansion.

I myself stayed at Jasmine Mansion for 5 nights last month. Overall experience was pleasant. Owner Kevin and his wife are very nice and friendly and so is the rest of their staff. Very responsive to all your needs. Hotel is very clean and well lighted. I would recommend it.

just got back to the uk with a 18 night stay at the Jasmine Mansion. good hotel, great staff especially the cute receptionist!

I have never stayed at this hotel, but always get a kick at reading the handwritten sign board in front of the place. Someone, in my opinion is very creative.

I stayed there for eight days in April and was happy with my stay. I had the 800 baht suite in the back fo the building but if I stay again I would likely opt for the standard rooms in the front with a balcony.

Yes indeed! She has sort of an English twang to her voice which was endearing!

Assuming you're talking about the young one and not Kevin's wife Jin, who is attactive and very helpful from my experience.

My mate and I stayed there for about 8 days and can thoroughly recommend the place. Kevin the owner is a top bloke and nothing is too much trouble.

 

We stayed in the big suite which was very nice and well worht the extra money. Kevin did mention that they planned to put flatscreen tvs, microwaves, etc in the rooms in the future.

Ask for a room in 3 or 4 floor, there are not mutch noise.

 

I stay in room 301 in June- Juli this year.

I was pretty glad to stay there.

 

Dont forget there are no lift on the hotel, but very good stairs.

I hawe my 2 small daugthers with me, they are only 3 and 4 years old, and the stairs was no problem for them.

 

I hawe stay 3 nights in the suite too, personaly i prefer the large room, because there are a balcony, witch not are the case in the suites

 

There are saftybox in all rooms.

 

This is a very clean and proper hotel, frindly staff, the owner is there the most of the time, i kind gengleman from the Uk, and his wife is there to.

I would just like to update you with things here at Jasmine Mansion:

 

1. Our web site is now up and running and can be found at www.jasminemansion.com. We have full details on the hotel as well as a large selection of hotel, room and food pictures. There is a link on the LINKS section to this site and a couple of other Pattaya web sites/forums. The site is presently in English only although there is the facility to view in both Thai and German and the translation should be done in the next week or so. One or two minor errors are presently being attended to with the main one being the e-mail address which should read: jasminemansion@mail.com

 

2. We are getting a Pool Table which should be installed in the next week.

 

3. We plan to have FREE WiFi access available to all guest rooms by the end 2006 (this is Thailand remember so I will confirm when this is done) and at the same time make the Full of Beans cafe a WiFi Hot Spot.

 

4. The family have now moved to our new home in Nong Yai so the Penthouse at the hotel will be available from December. This is a very large space with sleeping, sitting and dressing areas, King sized bed, ample furnishings, large modern bathroom, external covered kitchen (with electric cooking rings, large fridge and microwave) and dining area, roof terrace with an outside shower. OK it is on the 5th floor and thus a long walk up but I did it for 2 years and it is the main reason that I lost 25 kilos of unwanted flab!! We will offer daily and monthly rates although believe this would best suit someone looking for 2+ months and we will offer generous discounts on published rates for any longer staying guests.

 

5. High Season bookings are very good and from November to March we are around 90% pre-booked . A cancellation from two guys today means we currently have two rooms (Large Doubles with Balcony) as the only available accommodation from mid December to mid January.

 

6. At our Full of Beans Cafe we are offering a B70 afternoon menu from 13:00 to 17:00. This menu is as follows:

7. We now offer Room Rates INCLUSIVE of breakfast from our Guest Breakfast Set Menu. We have only increased our basic rates by B50 to include this and offer the option of booking a room excluding breakfast at a B50 discount. The Set Menu is shown below and available from 08:00 to 13:00 either in the Cafe or guest room.

is there parking?

Parking only available for motorbikes I am sorry to say. However, further north on Soi Baukoaw (about 500m) past Siam Sawsdee there are some covered parking bays which can be used although I have no idea of the cost. A customer used them a couple of weeks ago for two nights apparently free of charge.
