Does anybody know if there is a airline miles credit card that gives miles for money spent on Western Union wire transfers. I guess they would have to not consider it a cash advance This may seem weird but I make a lot of purchases threw western union from small suppliers in China that don't accept credit cards. I would like to start earning miles from them. Thanks, Win

well fargo bank. charges to western union will earn miles.

I will check with wells fargo. I didn't even know that they offerd a credit card with miles. I bank with wells fargo so that will make it easy. Thank You, Win

If your sending $$$ to a girl in the Kingdom, I recommend NOT using Western Union. The fees are EXORBINANT

I have a girl that I stayed in contact with after my 2nd trip to AC. I've always been suspicious of the girls (thanks to the great advice here) asking for money. I've never sent money because I don't trust many of them. This particular girl almost had me. She's never asked for money until this week. She started off with the "I'm shy" line. Then she tells me her brother needs surgery to remove a cyst. She needed money to help pay for it. It wasn't much (6000 php), but I told her I would let her know. I called Western Union and was inquiring about how to send money to P.I. The guy asked the address and then he asked for her name. I thought it was a bit unusual to ask for the name, but I gave it to him anyway. Good thing I did. He didn't know my name, but said that I had sent money to her a few days ago and shouldn't have any problems sending her money again. Talk about giving up the info. If you can somehow convince or trick the Western Union rep into giving up the info, you can find out what your girl is doing. I lucked into it, but it seems like it could work. Good luck

Western Union office in the Big C. Interesting to watch the girl come up with her "brother" to get her cash from a member of the "chump of the month". Girls don't like to get up early. I would recommend going around 4PM or so and see the parade of girls bellying up to the counter.

Don't worry i'm not sending money to a BG. I work too hard for my money to just give it away.
