Etihad - MAN ~ BKK - Abu Dhabi transit times.

I have just been notified that my flight times have changed later on in the year. Basically the AUH~BKK flight will be leaving an hour earlier so therefore only 1 Hour transit time instead of 2.

Question is, from experiences so far, is that enough time to change aircraft/transit at Abu Dhabi. Travelling Biz class, so that should help. :D

Have to admit I don't see a problem with me, (never too far away from the next departure gate in that circular terminal), was more concerned with baggage transfer.

with the size of the terminal at Abu Dhabi a 1hr transit time is ample, you can see all the gates from " The Donut" and when chris went through in may arrived & departed same gate ! and all the luggage was container pods so that a quick swop anyway, enjoy and the duty free is Brilliant ! 200 Dunhill International £8 ! and you can pay in GBP, Dollars whatever u have !

Following my post my flight in Dec still arrives in Abu Dhabi at 20.00 and leaves at 21.55 for BKK-no change.(x MAN)

Curious!!! I am also ex MAN on 28 Dec and arrive AUH at 2000 and depart for BKK at 2100 (was 2155). You might want to double check your flight arrival and departure times from Abu Dhabi at www.checkmytrip.com.

Check with your agent . AUH~BKK segment (EY403) schedule changes on 29th October. Leaves AUH at 2100.

GMT/BST time differences have nothing to do with this segment.

Its no problem - the Middle East are well versed in transits as thats their primary business in terms of aircraft movement. An hour is fine - did it last year smooth as silk

Oh when does that take into affect, as i am on that route this Saturday 12th, Pearl class also. But my ticket says 09:55 departure from Abu Dhabi.

What is with manchester next weekend, trying to get a flight down from aberdeen inorder to catch that Etihad flight and everything is fuck'n expensive :chogdee2

When I arrived at 7.20, my teerak was so unhappy with the time she just didnt show up. However, it transpired that I had forgotten her birthday (2nd June, not 6th February), and this made it one each

There were some very sleepy looking hot girls around though, always a great welcome into LOS to see a denim miniskirt and high heels after 16 hours in transit

Changes in effect 29th October.

I think you might find the problem with Aberdeen~ Manchester prices, on Friday/Saturdays is caused by the "Offshore oil platform" workers going on leave/joining. :beer

Hi All,

My Etihad 1 stop flights for 28/12/06 to 18/01/07 have just been cancelled and they have sighted the changeover is to short so the airline have stopped the flights. ( Fucking Muppets have offered aternative flights on New Years Eve evening ) or I can cancel and they charge me for returning the tickets for a refund, blue language i have laready let them have ( fucking wankers at the Inidian call centre for EBookers are a total nightmare. :ang2 :banana :D <grin

My stopover times in Abu Dhabi was 1 hour 40 minutes, to short they said. !!!

Last time I ever book through those pricks. They fucked up my original direct flights and now this. Wish i could hold the tossers to find me like for like or very close to same day.

That's worrying, I've got the same changeover times in late October and again on the way back in November. No email yet though.

I've just looked at the Etihad website and all my flights are still up on it so here's hoping......

prices vary between websites ie sometimes you could find a flight cheaper on lastminute, then a week later price goes up & its then cheaper on ebookers etc
