Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

Hi everyone just joined this site an as a newbie would like some advice from fellow members, will be coming to pattaya in april07 and would like to know what hotels you would recommend.dont want to be paying much more than 750 baht per night, cheapskate mate lol, must be guest friendly and have a inroom safe pool would be nice but not essential. Also it should be near the action,i have read some of the hotel reviews but still dont know what would be best.Came across the chabahut resort hotel it looks very nice but is it g/f and is it to far away from where all the action is.

Any advice would be very welcome

Thanks from skyman

Welcome Oxman,

Im not familiar with Chabahut,my recomendation would be to stay on Soi 7 or 8.Its a good location for newbies, there are plenty of hotels on these Sois.Flipper lodge and house,Eastiny's ect.

My guess is wherever you stay you'll have a ball. :banghead

I have been to pattaya 6 times and always stayed in the flipper house, soi 7. 880BT a night. There is a swimming pool on the roof and alot bars on your doorstep. They don't charge you to bring the ladies back and the staff are always very friendly. If you have anymore questions pm me and i will help you as best i can.

I'm trying the Queen Victoria this time on Soi 6. No pool but new in-room safes and top rate of $750 low season.

Excellent choice. Lot of board members have stayed there and liked it. I like the fish & chips and the other pub grub they serve.

Last time I took some Newbie friends we stayed at the Welkom Inn at Soi 2. It is

just like living in Paradise and give you that Pattaya feel!

ummm. Just my opionion (and like everyone has an assole), I would not recommend the Welkom Inn. Yes, it has a short-time bar next door where you can get 2 girls for 1000B ST, but you can get that just by being a visitior. The rooms are shit. The breakfast is very good at 90B, but the steak at dinner for 400B is just crap. For a few more dollars stay next door at the sabaii lodge or sabaii inn.. Normally, a few baht does not make much difference, but in this case...it really does.
