hi guys

just to update

i am at tycoon place now

heres mu tuppeneth worth

security good as long as u get him the odd fried chicken

as reported lighting isnt to good

air con not very powerfull

quiet location

good reception staff

good maid service

all in all not to bad

but not my next choice for visit

I checked out this place last Christmas, and thought it was OK.

On my last trip, 22/08/2006,I phoned them from BKK, and booked 7 nights @ 700 baht a night.

The place is brand new, immaculate, and they call it a serviced apartment.

There are no facilities for making a cup of tea/coffee.

There's not even a cup, saucer, plate, knife nor fork.

There is a balcony, but no furniture on it, to sit out on.

The hotel, and room furniture, is all black, which gives it a very cold atmosphere.

It's is also down a dark narrow lane, and I did not feel comfortable going out and coming back late at night.

There are no bars or restaurant nearby.

So I checked out after 3 nights.

Just my opinion.

Stayed there in june. Will NOT stay again. Did not like the staff or the security guy. Owner overcharged us for electricity. (We had 2 rooms for a month). Location no good. End of side soi.

Maid cleaning terrible.

 

Only good thing is that it is quiet.
