I have stayed here a few times, nice staff. It has a very small pool and two bars where you can get food as well, the rooms are basic but clean and fine, they have tv(cable) fridge, shower some have a bath, table chairs, air con, fan, tiled floors etc. I have tried to get a studio room a few times with out success, I believe the staff have them, so that leaves you with the choice of standard, or deluxe, I would go with the standard although smaller most have a small balcony, and if you have a lap top you can receive wifi in the standard rooms. Arunothai is opposite Carrefour and Shagwell is a 5 minute walk down the road, the room charge for a standard one was 8.000 baht a month on top of this you have to pay electric and water, which is about another 700 baht a month. There is a motorcycle taxi rank outside the hotel so it is easy to get anywhere, also a 7/11 shop opposite the hotel, just up the road to your right as you exit the hotel are a few more shops and a nice bar also a restaurant which are both cheaper and better than drinking and eating in shagwell. There is a good laundry as you come out of the hotel go right then first left, two minutes away.Never had any problem really with this place. :clap1 :ang2 :cry2 I hope that helps you out a bit. They have internet in the lobby and free wifi, room service as well.

stayed there myself and no problems, clean and well run. biggest hassle is transportation, not a problem if you hire a motorbike but relying on taxis/baht buses if you have a companion can get costly and time-consuming. You can get just as good accommodation closer in to town, or somewhere on a baht bus route.

If you can do the 5 minute walk up to Pattayaklang the transportation issue isn't much. The baht busses run up and down Pattayaklang. Some will head north when they reach 2nd Rd taking you up to the Big C area and other will head over to Beach Rd and then south to Walking St. Both will cost you 10 baht for yourself and 5 baht for your TG. Coming back will require the use of 2 baht busses, so the cost will double. You won't pay too much more on transporation than elsewhere in Pattaya as long as that 300 meter walk isn't a problem.
