I am staying in Pattaya for about one month from the middle of November. I have previously stayed at the Residence Garden and I am considering it this time as well, but for one month even the cheap FLB rate does add up. I have been looking through posts here trying to find a good serviced apartment but so far I have not found anything that I am happy with.

Must-have features:

Decent standard room, not just a bed and a TV. Good bathroom.

Relatively easy to get to and from the fun-spots.

Guest friendly.

Daily maid service and fresh towels.

Not a noisy neighborhood.

In-room safe.

Price up to 25000 baht for a month.

I would also like to have in-room internet access.

Does anyone know a place that satisifies my needs ? <grin

The Residence Garden has reduced rates if you stay for a month. I stayed for about a month last week and was charged around 30,000 baht, which is still over your budgeted figure. It may be worth checking out their monthly rate as they have everything else you're looking for.

I have checked wit Residence garden regarding monthly rate, the reply was:

"We do offer special monthly rates between April and October.

However from 1st November Special daily rate of 1,399 Baht applies."

Thanks for the other suggestions, I will have a look. If anyone else knows somewhere good, please let me know.

Hello, bad news about Sanya-appartments...

Just next to the appartments someone has opened a karaoke-bar.

They play LOUD music until 7 in the morning, so, unles you are deaf,

you wont sleep at al in sanya-appartments.

Peoples are leaving after one day (or, night...).

The responce of the boss of sanya-apprtments:

if you leave early, then they charge you 5 extra days.

If you dont pay, they report you to the police as a non-payer and then

they wil catch you on departure on the airport.

At this time, stay away from sanya-apps, my advice.

If you mail sanya about the karaoke next door ( the name is FOURFILL),

you wil get an answer saying there is no problem at all.

Do not believe them, i was there the 2nd part of september 2006 and i did have

to pay th 5 extra days, or, they treathent me, i would be reported as a non-payer.

Wouldnt take the risk so i payed, but also filed a complain with tourist police.

If this wil help at all...

Bob,

We can perhaps do something for you at Jasmine Mansion on Soi Baukaow depending on your exact dates. Have a look at our rooms and information on the hotel at www.jasminemansion.com. Then check out what folks say about us here on this site and other forums and if you then think we may be worth trying send me an e-mail to jasminemansion@mail.com

Best wishes,

Kevin

We are just comfortale there.
