it's my first time coming to pattaya in april!! can anyone tell me the best bars to go to ! and the one's to avoid!! any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Try the Cherry bar on Soi 8 and the FLB bar on Walking street.

If you study previous postings you will find recommendations for dozens (maybe hundreds!) of bars and GoGo's, thereby proving the point that different people have different tastes and preferences.

 

In Pattaya, within a couple of days, you will already have sampled many of these and begun to get a feeling for which ones YOU like best.

 

Having said this, the bars most frequented by boardies seem to be Cherry Bar and FLB, so I would certainly suggest trying these and seeing if you can meet up with some of the other board members.

Gizmo, do the Cherry and FLB as others have suggested, not just because of their association with this board, they really are good bars to frequent. I just got back from my newby trip last week and one of the things that suprised me was the scale of Pattaya, there are hundreds of bars and go go,s not just the popular ones that you will hear mentioned. The maps you might see dont allways accuratly reflect the distances between the various sois and roads.
