Taxi from airport late (1 AM)

I'm trying to use frequent flyer miles from Washington DC - Flight arrives around midnight -so Is is possible to get taxis from BKK to Pattaya at around 1AM ?

 

Also return flight leaves 6:40AM - is it possible to arrange for taxi from pattaya to get to airport in time?

2. It's possible but you must book from the taxi maffia the day before

 

 

It's better/safer for the return trip at least to use a limo service either from your hotel or a limo service you can find in the forum under - Mr Toom for example.

I arrive around that time of the night and have a car service pick me up. They charge 1000 baht plus tolls of 60 baht plus parking (was 30 baht at the old airport and haven't arrived at the new airport yet). I use the same service when I depart Pattaya at 3 AM. Getting a taxi from the airport to Pattaya is no problem, even at that hour.

 

Last month, I asked my hotel reception desk for a taxi from Pattaya to the new airport at 3:00 AM. This was scheduled for the second day the airport opened. It was 1200 baht including tolls and the car arrived on schedule at 3:00 AM. No problems at all.

 

I recommend booking Mr. Toom for the ride to Pattaya and working with your hotel reception for a car for the return trip.

I always seem to arrive in BKK late at night and have never had a problem getting a taxi to take me to Pattaya. A couple times, I have used the taxi stand outside. Another time I went with Toom; last time I went with my hotel taxi (Jasmine Hotel - Soi BJ)

No problem whatever hour you need to be picked up. 1200 baht from BKK to Pattaya - 1000 baht for Pattaya to BKK. Driver is courteous, car is clean and newer model, all tolls included in price. I wouldn't think twice about booking his car service again in the future.
