Sorry to trouble you guys But I am from Ireland going to Pattya In a few weeks and Gulf air has just started to fly from Dublin does anybody know if the are a good airline? many thanks

Last year I flew from Dubai to Amsterdam on Gulf Air and had no problems; typical flight on a typical airline. Nothing stood out to say it was an exceptional airline, but I still would prefer Thai or Cathay Pacific given a choice.

I use Gulf Air frequently from Bahrain to Bangkok and can say that they are a pretty good airline. Join the frequent flyer program and get 10 kilos extra on your luggage allowance!!

I was reading in the Bangkok Post this morning that Gulf Air have a mastercard promotion.

About 800 pounds return business class but you must have a companion.

Flew Gulf in 2002 and never again except for an emergency.

 

Smallest seats which I have ever encountered, backed up on another thread which stated they were just 28" pitch in economy.

Flew them one way about 3 years ago and said never again. Full of arabs trying to use mobile phones on the flight, the coldest plane ever. Bahrain, the coldest airport ever. Ran out of water. Shit food. Cheap.

 

If you have the money, use someone else.
