Just want to remind people that there is an air con coach service from the bus terminal on Pattaya North Road direct to the new airport. the cost is only 150 baht, tho they only have a limited number of services, 9am 1pm and 5pm as I recall (?) . Phone number is 038 370055 and the receptionist speaks english.

Hopefully this service will become popular and they will put on more buses. 5pm last bus is a bit sad. I'm arriving at 8pm so it's the taxi sharks for me. Any information about the return trip? Where does the bus terminate in Pattaya?

I am using it this sunday for the first time. I used to go to Don Muang with this company often but could never find out the times/location of buses back to pattaya. will give it another shot on sunday.

Can you quiz them on their timetable? Maybe they run more often... maybe they sit around till the bus is full

when they went to don muang they only ever had four trips a day, last one at 5pm. will make enquiries this sunday about any new arrangements. funny enuff they used to charge 250 baht to don muang and they quoted me only 150 to the new airport. nice to see prices come down for a change.

They have put an extra couple of runs on............there is one at 11am now and one mid afternoon as far as i remember.

 

I booked my TGF on the 11am one 2 weeks ago.

 

If no one else posts before i/m off to Singapore on the 5th Dec will get the full times then and post.

 

(and yes new fare is 150baht)

Hey guys,

 

Have heard, there is this bus No 389 from BKK (new airport) to Pattaya. It leaves at 9.00 , 13.00 , 17.00,19.30. (i suppose this bus is being referred to)

 

Three queries

 

1) Is there any other pvt buses (if any one know ) in the morning from the new airport.. at 9 - 10 Am?

2) How to go to north terminal from arrivals?

3) Presuming i miss bus 389 (and no other buses at that time) , how to go to the main Bus Stand (Eknami , i suppose) . n how long it takes to reach eknami

 

Any info would be appreciated :-)

Here are the details of the private bus service:-

Bell Transport run a large air con bus between the Bus Terminal in Pattaya North Road and the new airport. Cost is 150 baht each way. Used the service on Sunday and it was great, 1hour 45 mins pattaya to drop off at departure doors.

The timetable is:- From Pattaya - 6am, 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, and 7pm. From the Airport - 8am, 10am, 12noon, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm.

If you want a pickup at the airport, you telephone 027474675-6 and they will meet you at door number 10 at the 2nd floor exit level. The departure point in Pattaya is the office at the back of the terminal complex, on the right hand side. It has a small red and white "AIRPORT" sign outside. Staff answering the phones speak english
