Affidavit (Form D80 UK divorce)

Recommended Posts

I need to make a sworn affidavit (Form D80 UK divorce) before a solicitor and then send it to the county court in the UK.

Problem is I am away from the UK for a couple of months and need to know if is it possible to swear the affadivt in Thailand before a UK solicitor, if yes can anyone recommend a UK solicitor in either Pattaya or Bangkok. Thnaks SNN

I don't know the name but the Pattaya Mail used to carry the name (in a classified advert) of an english solicitor who visited every six weeks. Perhaps you can find it online or pick up a copy to see if the advert is curently running.

I have had affidavits sworn hear and sent to the UK - to date, they have all been accepted.

As for the Form D80 UK divorce, an email to the destination department may be advised. The Embassy should also be able to help.
