Maybe its my problem for not actually asking for 1.

 

I always bring the girlfriend anyway and she never touches draft so im never out looking for a free lunch (or a 2nd voucher). It just seems that if your on your way into the bar anyway they dont give you a voucher.

 

It just looks like they are trying to drum up extra business from people that are walking past the bar and not those already committed to entering.

Thanks mate for the feed back ,you are right !

 

After talking to the girls as to why they told me that many guys just walk straight past and if they do try to hand one to them ,most guys brush them aside as theywere in the way.

 

Now i then told the girls to hand them out to every one ,but after sitting there for about 20 min ,the girls were right most guys looked at them as if they were in the way and did in fact brush them aside.

 

After watching this i had to tell the girls to go back to what they were doing before (which they would have done anyway if i was not there)

 

PLEASE just ask as you are heading in the door and the girls will be happy to suppy you with one.

I know that I am so used to being scammed by everyone from flower sellers on down , so that when I know where I am going, I just go, to be honest I have never noticed the girls trying to hand me anything on the way in, but then again I have the old thousand yard stare on at that point

I've removed the text detailing my experience in LD1

 

Mainly because I really don't want to be a complaining old fart, it does take a lot to get me in complaining mode and whilst I believe my comments were all justified ......... life really is too short.

 

Everyone who comes to Pattaya will have unique experiences in everybar they go to ...... nobody is 'guaranteed' a good night, every night in every bar.

 

You come you pay your money, you take your chances.

 

Fortunately, there are always plenty of bars and plenty of girls

I'm sorry that you have had a bad experience there. I'm not going to make any excuses for them. All I can say is that I have been to NLD1 on numerous occasions and have taken two ladies for there. I have never had any problems with either the dancers or the service ladies. I have found the service personnel to be fun and friendly. I must admit that I have never tried to pay bar for one of the service staff.

I can't beleive my mates girlfriend won the free bar fine ! We put her name back in the hat, and pulled out another name, and it was my mate. I wonder if they will share the bar fine ?
