BAD DENTIST

Gents,

I've read the great reviews on Dr.Aree of pattaya hospital, and I've gotten quote for a crown from them for 14,000 baht and one from Modern Smile Dental for 12,000 baht.

I wish to get a few more and I know you get what you pay for ,but anybody have any "Terrible " experiences with Dentist I should stay away from ?

Dr Aree will give you 3 different quotes...amount of gold in the crown starts at 7000 baht

 

I had 2 crowns ...9 fillings ..some very large and a bridge ( 4 teeth )cleaning and X Rays...the lot Euro 2100

 

The best dentist I have ever been to....would highly recommend her

Dr Michael Schlatter is supposed to be good in that area. He has his office right up the road from the Residence Garden on the way to Jomtien. There was a thread about dentists and this same topic a while back. Have a look and good luck.

Joker , I could not imagine finding a better dentist than Dr Aree, she is fast, efficient, makes sure you are as pain free and comfortable as possible ,she looks good ,has a sense of humour and speaks pretty good english .Oh and the results were excellent...HIGHLY RECOMMENED but if you want to shop around "up to you".

Another good dentist I used a couple of years ago was the one opposite the Leng Kee restaurant on Pattaya Central Road, between junction with 2nd Road and Soi Bhuakow. Can't remember the name of the place, but it was quick clean and not expensive

avoid the dentist in soi 8 i had 2 fillings done there and both fell out within 6 weeks

I am looking for a good hygenist when I arrive in March. I don't need any work done just a general clean. It's £45 at my local surgery for agood clean. Any recommendations?

Dr Aree is at the Pattaya International Hospital on Soi 4 2nd Road end.

 

A sonic clean and polish runs about Bt1000 or so.

Dr Aree was great. I'm sad to see so many good reports about her. She's going to be harder to see.

I have used Dr Aree and the man dentist there...He did 2 crowns....15000 each but top of line...and he was Excellent been back a few times for fillings etc and he was great...

I had this done prior to the Lazer whitening for B1000 (£14 .37) at The Royal dentists, almost right across the road from the Marriot on 2nd Road, this is also a good dentist outfit, ultra modern equipment, competant staff etc, should the good doctor become too busy for the rest of you all.

Thanks for all replies. Pattaya hosp.seems the way to go ,and yes I was given 3 quotes all depending on the quality of crown .

Pat. Hosp also returned my email very quickly .

As for Dr. Aree yes I have read many great things ,but if she's not available I'll go with the other 3 choices.

when it comes to my teeth , you could look like a orge but if your gentle and do good work ,you'll have my repeat business.
