I can understand her situation very well.

I was born deaf,my hearing is almost nill,i was fortunate

that the deaf school i went to in England when i was very

young, did not teach us sign language,but taught us to lipread,

i do it so well now,many people find it hard to beleive that

i am deaf.

The sign language as taught in the USA, is not quite the same as taught

in Australia and the UK, i dont know anything at all about if they do sign in thai languages.

And i am also fortunate that hearing aids do help me hear

the surounding background noises, they dont help me understand what you say,but they

do make a huge difference to my life.

Hearing aids are one thing that could realy help her.

They are not cheap at all, about $1000 Au for a good one,

plus the additional expenses of an audiologist to determine

what sort of aid would suit her.

so if i may suggest, why not raise money so she can have her hearing tested

with the possibilty of her being fitted with hearing aids.

I am sorry i am not in a financial position to help at this time.

Sign language is different in different countries. A lot of the meaning is lost from country to country and also from culture to culture. So many many things can be lost.

Being deaf does not have to be a handicap. My mother was born deaf and worked all her life as a BG in Jersey. If a deaf girls screams in the woods will anyone hear her? Seriously though, I don't know what the big deal is. Might even be a plus that she can't easily be distracted by cell phones, other girlfriends in the bar. She would have to pay close attention to lip reading and physical gestures to communicate! Sounds like a keeper to me. By the by, how is she doing?

Seems she is doing ok.

I was there 2 weeks ago, I paid bar for 3 girls (different occasions) & asked them about her dicreetly with intentions of meeting her & maybe taking her out for some food, dancing, back to loom if she wanted but was told "She very fussy, not go with most men who ask" by all 3 of them.

 

Dunno if it was usual BG bullshit or if her diary is full, so didn't actually get to see her.

I saw this linked from another thread and it made me roll my eyes. Back in February/March 07 I met an ex LD1 girl who still works at a Beerbar near soi 4 on beach road who was really up for some girl on girl action. So i took her shopping for Pussy. We ended up bar fining this same "Lady who cannot speak" from LD1 who was also keen on some 3 way. Nice girl but certainly not innocent. She still works in LD1 to this day is pretty damn mercenary now as are most LD1 birds.
